CDE on OpenVMS – This is what I call a desktop experience!
Actually it’s a total pain in the ass to use, but sure does look funky and workstation-y. I dreamed of owning something like this back in the 90s when a basic CDE-capable workstation went for many, many kilodollars.

Found a cool little service from the early days of the Net: The Phone Company. These guys will let you send faxes (over email or web) all over the world for free, including the UK and USA. No ads either.
